If you sit on the bank along side McDonald Creek . . . just a few yards down from the Apgar cabins . . . you can see where Apgar Creek flows into McDonald Creek across the way . . . this painting makes it look awful snowy . . . but the truth is the only snow was right along the bank and in the deep shadows . . .
