CAIRN - 8X10 OIL ON PANEL

Okay! I know I haven't posted in forever (well since Wednesday anyway) so time to show you what I've been working on . . .here are two from a new series of "white on white" (seven or so paintings so far) . . . these are very hard to photograph and are all lighter than they appear . . . i.e. all of the background areas blend out to pure titanium white . . . Enjoy!

Tried to capture the intense sunlight reflecting off the surface of the lake . . . not happy with results . . . accept I've got an idea of how to do it better next time . . . NFS as this is one of the few paintings I didn't "work" until I was pleased with it . . . Enjoy?
