With REAL Fur Ears!

My latest project . . . I found this rocking horse in the thrift store over a year ago. . . it was painted duct tape grey with white "spray painted" spots and had a snarly carpet yarn tail and mane. . . as you can see I completely "redid" it . . . for my granddaughter . . . but he will "live" at Gramma's house. . . Merry Christmas!

Up The Creek

Here are some photos of the Paddle Art project I did for the upcoming (January 20th) auction to benefit the Tamarack Grief Resource Center & Camp Remember . . . done in acrylics which were a pain to work with for me. . . I designed nearly two dozen "ideas" for this and kept changing my mind . . . the paddle is studded with a total of 16 crystals . . . 8 depict the Big Dipper & the North Star . . . last year these paddles went for between $550 & $1050 . . . so will see! . . . Enjoy!

Catching Up!

Thank you to those of you who have asked about my blog and paintings . . . got off on a tangent with some other projects (note the 1000 piece puzzle of woven blankets) . . . got around to the pumpkin painting AFTER Thanksgiving so needless to say I am "behind" . . .Enjoy . . .I am going to work on photos of my latest work now and plan to post soon . . . promise!

Sorry got awful behind on posting . . . had some Halloween things to do . . . like make my granddaughter a "Pumpkin Hat" . . . followed by my Halloween Cat painting which is 16 x20 and like the "white on white" so close in values almost impossible to see except for the eyes . . . if you are receiving this via e-mail be sure to go to my blog as I am posting all the up coming exhibits & stuff . . .
